My calling is to make the process of writing achievable, and dare I say, fun. Writing does not need to be painful. I use best practices to guide students with explicit instruction and earnest coaching. As the gold standard of critical thinking, being a capable writer is becoming more and more crucial in our modern world. If you are struggling with a blank page, or how to respond to a text, or where to begin, I can show you the way.

"Thank you." One of my great pleasures in life is to get a note from a former student, usually during their freshman year in college, saying something along the lines of: you prepared me  and now I'm doing great in school while many of my new friends are suffering. 

Teacher of the Year. Highly adaptive. Emotionally Inquisitive. I teach the whole child. My students have gone on to study at Stanford, Harvard, UPENN, Cornell, and UCLA Law, and have won gold and silver medals at the national level for many categories in the Scholastic Writing Awards.
